I'm Anetta Simpson, and I'm the photographer and recipe developer behind the scenes here at Crave. You can read more about me below, but first a quick run-down of how things work around here.
How it works:
- Head over to the Recipe Shop and pick out your favorite recipe.

- Simply download the zip file and you'll have instant access to the recipe and images.

With each purchase you'll receive:
- An original recipe which has been thoroughly tested to ensure success for your audience
- Keyword volume data from Keywords Everywhere
- High-resolution images including: one vertical ingredient shot, multiple vertical process shots (number varies depending on the complexity of the recipe), and a wide variety of hero shots (mostly vertical with a few horizontal options)
About Anetta:
Hello! I'm Anetta, and I'm a foodie, travel junkie, photographer, and wannabe digital nomad.
How does that work exactly? Well, long story short, I married a Frenchmen and now I spend part of the year in France. I have a separate studio (along with imperial measuring cups!) at our home in rural France, so I can continue to create content no matter where I'm stationed.
I got into food photography back in 2013 when I started my own blog, which I called The Wanderlust Kitchen. I poured my heart and soul into that venture and worked hard to make it a success. Within a year the revenue from the blog outpaced what I was making working full time with my MBA, so I left the corporate world behind and jumped into blogging full time.
I threw myself into developing my photography skills, but also learning about long-tail SEO keywords, writing to please the algorithm, and social media management. After five years I had more than 500 recipes on the blog, many of which were top-ranking on google.
During my time running TWK, I had the pleasure of working in long-term contracts with brands such as KitchenAid, General Mills, Frontier Natural Products, and Bob's Red Mill.
As much as I loved running my blog, eventually I felt it was time to move onto other ventures and sold The Wanderlust Kitchen at the end of 2019. My site was purchased by a couple who were themselves ready for a new adventure, and together we transitioned ownership of the blog. My original recipes are still the top ranking on the site, though the new owners have since replaced most of my photographs.
Since the sale, I've spent most of my time abroad. My husband and I are avid Overlanders, which means we like to geek out over off-road rigs, and then drive them over long distances to foreign lands.
During 2020 we got stuck living in our truck in Turkey for six months during the first wave of Covid lockdowns. In 2022 we left for an entire year driving from France to Cape Town, visiting 25 African countries along the way.
These adventures have introduced me to a wide range of different cuisines and cooking techniques which lend themselves beautifully to remaining creative in the kitchen. Nothing will make you cherish your own kitchen as much as spending a year cooking in the back of a truck in the African bush!
Nowadays we're settling back into everyday life, which for me means spending even more time in the kitchen. Needing a creative outlet (and, ahem, an income), I decided to once again turn my love of recipe development and photography into a career.
Thank you for supporting my work here at Crave Content Studio!
